Building on insights from the Breaking Barriers: Pathway to Inclusive Employment and Accessible Tourism conference at ITB Berlin 2025, this report showcases good practices in accessible tourism and inclusive employment across the sector. Developed in collaboration with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Agency for Business and Economic Development (AWE), it complements the Accessibility Guidelines for Tourism Businesses. Through 11 case studies from the public and private sectors, the report demonstrates the positive impact of accessibility and inclusion on service quality, business resilience, sustainability, and society at large.
